Verizon Jetpack® MiFi® 8800L - Turn SIM PIN On / Off

Here's how to lock the SIM card for your MiFi 8800L to prevent use until a PIN is entered.
To lock your SIM card so data service can't be used until a PIN is entered, view this info.
Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so it can't be used until the correct code is entered. If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to Locate the 4G SIM PIN/PUK - My Verizon Website to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  2. Click
    Jetpack Settings
    .
  3. Click the
    Advanced tab
    , review the warning then click
    Continue
    .
  4. Click
    SIM
     (located below the Advanced tab).
  5. From the Desired Action dropdown, select
    Turn on PIN Lock
    .
  6. In the Current PIN field, enter the current SIM PIN.
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  7. Click
    Save Changes
    .
