Verizon GizmoTablet™ - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

If your GizmoTablet isn't receiving alerts for texts and email, here's how to check Do Not Disturb settings.
The Do not disturb feature silences sound/vibration for phone calls, messages, etc., though exceptions may be allowed.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    Do not disturb
    .
  4. Tap the
    Turn on now switch
     to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch off icon.
  5. Tap
    Turn on as scheduled
     to turn on or off.
    If turned on, do the following:
    1. Select the preferred day(s).
      Selected when a circle is present.
    2. Tap
      Set schedule
      .
    3. Tap
      STARTthen adjust the start time
      .
    4. Tap
      ENDthen adjust the end time
      .
    5. Tap
      Done
      .
    6. Tap the
      left arrow icon
       Left arrow icon to return to the previous screen.
  6. Tap
    Allow exceptions
    .
  7. Tap the following to turn on or off:
    • Alarms
    • Media
    • Touch sounds
  8. Tap the
    Back icon
     to return to the previous screen.
  9. Tap
    Hide notifications
     then the preferred notification setting (e.g., Hide full screen notification, Hide app icon badges, etc.) to turn on or off.
