Here's how to turn mobile data for your Galaxy Tab A (10.5) on or off.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Data usage
    .
  3. Tap the
    Mobile data switch
     to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch off icon.
    If prompted, tap
    Turn off
     to confirm.
