Here's how to remove a Gmail (Google) account from your Galaxy Tab A (10.5).
Removing and re-adding a Gmail account can fix login issues and problems receiving email.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts and backup
    Accounts
    .
  3. Select the appropriate Gmail™ address.
    Multiple accounts may appear.
  4. Tap
    Remove account
    .
  5. To confirm, review the notification then tap
    Remove account
    .
