Samsung Galaxy Tab A (10.5) - Turn Power Saver On / Off

Here's how to turn 'Power mode' on or off to help manage battery performance for your Galaxy Tab A (10.5).
While enabled, Power mode reduces your device's performance and limits vibration, location services and most background data to help improve battery life.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Device care
    Battery
    .
  3. Tap
    Power mode
    .
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To turn on:
      1. Tap Medium power saving or Maximum power saving.
      2. Configure any of the following settings:
        • Restrict background data
          Activated when a blue checkmark is present.
        • Limit CPU speed
          Activated when a blue checkmark is present.
        • Brightness
          Tap the
          Dropdown icon
           Dropdown icon then select the preferred setting.
      3. Tap
        Apply

    • To turn off, tap
      Optimized
