Here's how to allow your Galaxy Tab A (10.5) to auto-switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to preserve a consistent data connection.
When connected to the Verizon cellular network, data overage charges may apply (depending upon data plan). For data usage info, refer to the My Verizon website.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    .
  3. Tap
    Wi-Fi
    .
  4. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) then tap
    Advanced
    .
  5. Tap
    Switch to mobile data
     to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch off icon.
