Here's how to add a contact to your Galaxy Tab A 10.5.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Tap
    Contacts Contacts Icon

  3. Tap the
    Add icon Add Contact Icon
    .
  4. If presented, select an account (e.g., Tablet, Google, etc.).
  5. Enter any of the following info then tap
    Save

    Depending upon the account, the options presented may vary.
    • Name
    • Work info
    • Phone
      To add a pause (a 2-second delay between numbers) or wait, tap
      *+#
       then tap Pause(,) or Wait(;).
    • Email
    • Groups
    Tap
    View more
     to enter the following:
    • Address
    • Inportant date
    • Relationship
    • Notes
    • Web address
    • Messenger account
