Google Pixel 3 - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your Pixel 3 / 3 XL.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    Hotspot & tethering.
  3. Tap
    Wi-Fi hotspot
     then tap to turn on Switch On icon.
  4. From the Wi-Fi hotspot screen, set up the following.
    • Hotspot name
    • Security
      • WPA2-Personal
      • None
        If presented with a Warning screen, tap Continue.
    • Hotspot Password
      Password can be changed.
  5. Tap
    Turn off hotspot automatically
     to turn on Switch On icon or off Switch off icon.
