Google Pixel 3 - Add a Contact

Here's how to add a contact to your Pixel 3 / 3 XL.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     Contacts icon .
    To select an account other than the default, tap the
    Switch account icon
     switch account (upper-right) then tap the account to select.
  3. Tap the
    Add icon
     add contact (lower-right).
  4. Enter any of the information (e.g., phone, address, email, etc.) then tap
    Save
    (upper-right).
    Depending upon the account type, the options presented may vary.
    To add a pause (2-second delay between numbers) or wait, tap
    *#
     and tap Pause (,) or Wait (;) then tap
    Save
    .
    To change the type of a selection, tap the
    Dropdown menu
     located directly beneath the selection then select the desired choice (e.g., Mobile, Work, Birthday, etc.).
  5. Tap the
    Back icon
     Back navigation icon(upper-left) to exit.
