Here's how to view and adjust sync settings on your Pixel 3 / 3 XL if you're not receiving email and app notifications.
If you're not receiving email and app notifications, follow these steps to check your account sync settings.
Frequent account syncing can have a negative impact on battery life.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    >
    Passwords & accounts
     .
  3. Tap the appropriate account.
    Multiple accounts may appear.
  4. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  5. Enable on icon or disable off icon the sync settings as preferred.
    Available options may vary depending on the account type.
    To turn on master sync for all account types:
    1. Navigate:
      Settings
       >
      Passwords & accounts
       .
    2. Tap the
      Automatically sync app data switch
       to turn on or off.
