Here's how to add your Google (Gmail) account on your Galaxy Tab A (8.0).

If you need to add an existing Google™ ( Gmail™ ) account to your Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8.0), follow these step-by-step instructions.

If you don't already have an account, refer to Create a New Google Account.

From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.

Navigate:

Settings

Accounts and backup

Tap

Accounts

then tap

Add account

Tap

Google

If presented, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.

Enter the Gmail address then tap

Enter the password then tap

To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap

I agree

To review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tap the appropriate link and language then tap

(at the bottom) when finished.

If preferred, tap

Back up to Google Drive

to turn on Switch on icon

or off

then tap
