Samsung Galaxy Note9 - Add / Remove Speed Dial Number

Here's how to add or remove a speed dial number on your Galaxy Note9.
  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Phone icon
     Phone icon (lower-left).
    If not available, swipe up or down from the center of the display then tap
    Phone
    .
  2. From the Contacts tab (lower-right), tap the
    Menu icon Menu icon
    (upper-right) then tap
    Speed dial numbers
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Add a Speed Dial: From the Name or number field, enter the name or number of the desired contact then select it in the dropdown menu.
      As the name or number is entered, a list of matching contacts may appear and can be selected at any time.
      To change the speed dial number, tap the
      Dropdown menu icon Dropdown menu icon
      to the left of the field then select the desired number (e.g., 3, 4, 10, etc.).
    • Remove a Speed Dial: Tap the
      Remove icon Remove icon
      to the right of the corresponding speed dial entry.
