Samsung Galaxy J3 V / Galaxy J3 (3rd Gen.) - Set Ringtones / Notification Sounds

Here's how to select or change ringtones / notification sounds on your Galaxy J3 V / Galaxy J3 (3rd Gen).
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Sounds and vibration
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To set a ringtone:

      1. Tap
        Ringtone
        .
      2. Select a ringtone then tap the
        Back icon
         Back icon (upper-left).
    • To set a notification sound:
      1. Tap
        Notification sounds
        .
      2. Select the preferred notification sound then tap the
        Back icon
        .
