Here's how to manage interruption settings for your Galaxy J3 V / Galaxy J3.
  • The Interruptions feature allows sound / vibration (for phone calls, messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
  • Alarms are always considered priority interruptions.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    Do not disturb
    .
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To enable immediately, tap the
      Turn on now switch
       to turn on On switch icon.
    • To create a 'Do not disturb' schedule:
      1. Tap
        Turn on as scheduled
        .
      2. Tap the
        switch
         (at the top) to turn on.
      3. Select the desired day(s) of the week.
      4. Tap
        Start Time
         , enter the desired time then tap
        DONE
        .
      5. Tap
        End Time
         , enter the desired time then tap
        DONE
        .
  5. Tap the
    Back icon
     Back icon (upper-left) to return to the previous screen.
  6. Tap
    Allow exceptions
     then select one of the following:
    • Tap any of the following to turn on or off:
      • No exceptions
         : Mute all calls, alerts and media.
      • Alarms only
         : Allow only alarms to sound or vibrate while Do not disturb is on.
      • Custom
         : Set custom exceptions that can sound or vibrate while Do not disturb is on.
        If Custom is selected, do the following:
        1. Tap
          Calls from
           then select the desired option (e.g., All, Contacts only, Favorite contacts only, None).
        2. Tap
          Messages from
           then select the desired option (e.g., All, Contacts only, Favorite contacts only, None).
