Here's how to add a contact to your Galaxy J3 V / Galaxy J3.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     Contacts icon.
  3. Tap the
    Add icon
     Add Contact icon (lower-right).
  4. If presented, tap an account (e.g., Phone, Google, etc.) then tap
    SELECT

    To use this account automatically for future contacts, tap
    SET AS DEFAULT
    .
  5. Enter any of the following info then tap
    Save
     (upper-right):
    Depending upon the account type, the options presented may vary.
    • Name
    • Work
    • Phone
      To add a pause (a 2-second delay between numbers) or wait, tap
      *#
       then tap Pause or Wait.
    • Email
    • Group
  6. Tap
    View more
     to enter additional contact info options if desired:
    • Address
    • Web address
    • Event (e.g., birthday)
    • Notes
    • Messenger account
    • Nickname
    • Relationship
    • Phonetic name
