Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+ - Set Ringtones / Notification Sounds

Here's how to select or change ringtones / notification sounds on your Galaxy S9 / S9+.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Sounds and vibration
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To set a ringtone:

      1. Tap
        Ringtone
        .
      2. Select a tone then tap the
        left arrow icon
         Left arrow icon (upper-left) to save and return to the previous screen.
        Selected when a blue dot is present.
    • To set a notification sound:
      1. Tap
        Notification sound
        .
      2. Select the preferred notification.
      3. Tap the
        left arrow icon
         (upper-left) to save and return to the previous screen.
