Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+ - Manage Screen Lock Settings

Here's how to configure the screen lock settings for your Galaxy S9 / S9+.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    >
    Lock screen.
  3. From the Phone security section, tap
    Secure lock settings.
    If unavailable, refer to Set Up Screen Lock.
  4. Configure any of the following:
    Depending upon the screen lock type, the options presented may vary.
    • Make pattern visible
      Tap to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch off icon.
    • Lock automatically (e.g. Immediately, 5 seconds, 15 seconds, etc).
    • Lock instantly with power key
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Auto factory reset
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Lock network and security
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Show lockdown option.
      Tap to turn on or off.
