Here's how to network connections on your Macintosh.
  1. Launch Network Preferences.
    From the desktop, navigate:
    Apple Menu
    System Preferences
    Network
    .
  2. Ensure the desired connection is selected then click
    configure
     (the gear icon). Select
    Make Service Inactive

    Make Service Active
