Here's how to move files from internal storage on your Galaxy S8 / S8+ to an SD / memory Card.

From a Home screen, touch and swipe up or down to display all apps.

These instructions apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.

Tap

Samsung folder

then tap

My Files

Tap

Internal storage

Select the directory/folder that contains the file(s). (e.g., DCIM, Pictures, Music, etc.)

Tap the

Menu icon

(upper-right).

Tap

Edit

Select (check) the desired file(s).

To select all files, tap

All

(upper-left).

Tap

Move

(lower-left).

Tap the

Folder icon

(upper-left) to return to the 'My Files' page.

Tap

SD card

Select the directory/folder that you wish to move the file(s) to. (e.g., DCIM, Pictures, Music, etc.)

Tap

Move here
