Restoring your device to default settings helps when the device crashes and resets itself or when apps freeze/hang or reset the device.
Performing these steps resets all system settings (e.g., ringtones, sound settings, display settings, etc.) back to their default values. Personal data such as downloaded apps and media (pictures, videos, music) aren't affected.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and swipe up or down to display all apps.
    These instructions apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    General management General management icon
    Reset

  3. Tap
    Reset settings
    .
  4. Review the info then tap
    Reset Settings
     , to confirm.
    If applicable, enter the PIN, password or pattern.
  5. To confirm, review the info then tap
    Reset
