Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ - Record and Share a Video

Here's how to record and share a video on your Galaxy S8 / S8+.
To share a video that you've already recorded, refer to Share a Video from the Gallery.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and swipe up or down to display all apps.
    These instructions apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Camera
     Camera icon.
  3. Aim then tap the
    Record icon
     Record video icon (red circle in the lower-right while in landscape; in the lower-left while in portrait) to begin recording.
  4. When appropriate, tap the
    Stop icon
     Stop icon (on the right while in landscape; at the bottom while in portrait) to discontinue recording.
  5. Tap the image preview (upper-right while in landscape; lower-right while in portrait).
  6. Tap
    Share
     Share icon (at the bottom).
    If necessary, tap the screen to display the options.
  7. Tap the preferred share option (e.g. Bluetooth® , Email, Messages, etc.).
    Depending upon the apps installed, the options presented may vary.
  8. Enter the appropriate information then send the message.
    Depending upon the share option selected, the remaining steps to send/share may vary.
