Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ - Set Lock Screen Notifications

Here's how to manage how notifications appear on your Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ when the screen is locked.
Lock screen notifications for apps (e.g., text messages, Snapchat® , etc.) can be customized to be shown or hidden when your screen is locked.
If a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync® account is set up on the device, notifications are off by default.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and swipe up or down to display all apps.
    These instructions apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Lock screen Security icon

  3. Tap
    Notifications
    .
    This setting is only available if a Screen lock type is set up.
    Notifications must be turned on Switch on to access setup.
  4. Tap
    Hide content
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
  5. Tap
    Show notifications from
    then tap
    All apps
     to turn on or off.
    To adjust notification settings for individual apps, tap the corresponding switch on or off.
