Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ - Turn Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot On / Off

Here's how to turn the Mobile Hotspot for your Galaxy S8 / S8+ on or off.
When Mobile Hotspot is turned on, other Wi-Fi services are turned off.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and swipe up or down to display all apps.
    These instructions apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections Connections icon
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap the
    Mobile Hotspot switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
  4. If presented with an Attention screen, tap
    OK
    .
    When active, the Mobile Hotspot indicator appears in the status bar.
