Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ - Add / Remove Speed Dial Number

Here's how to add or remove a speed dial number on your Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+.

From a Home screen, tap the

Phone icon

(lower-left).

If not available, swipe up or down to access all apps then tap

Phone

From the CONTACTS tab (lower-right), tap the

Menu icon

then tap

Speed dial numbers

Do one of the following:

Add a Speed Dial: From the Name or number field, enter the name of number of the desired contact.

As the name or number is entered, a list of matching contacts may appear and can be selected at any time.

To change the speed dial number, tap the

Dropdown menu icon

located to the left of the field then select the desired number (e.g., 3, 4, 10, etc.).

Remove a Speed Dial: Tap the

Remove icon

next to the speed dial you want to delete.
