Here's how to turn GPS location on or off for your Galaxy S8 / S8+.
Satellite GPS requires more power and has an effect on battery life.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and swipe up or down to display all apps.
    These instructions apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Biometrics and security Biometrics and security icon
    Location
    .
  3. Tap the
    Location switch
     to turn on Switch On icon or off Switch Off icon.
  4. If presented with the Location consent screen, tap
    Agree
    .
  5. If presented with Google Location consent, tap
    Agree
    .
