Apple iPhone - Perform Spotlight Search

Here's how to search for items using Spotlight Search on your iPhone.
Spotlight Search is used to search for contacts, mail metadata, messages, calendars, etc.
  1. From the middle of the Home screen, swipe down.
    If option isn't available, from the Home screen swipe right to access Spotlight Search (at the top).
  2. From the Search field, enter the search text.
    As text is entered, a list of matching results may appear and can be selected at any time.
    If necessary, tap
    Search
     (lower-right).
  3. If applicable, select one of the following (at the bottom):
    • Search Web
    • Search App Store
    • Search Maps
