Apple iPhone - Capture a Screenshot

If you need to capture a screenshot using your Apple® iPhone®, follow these step-by-step instructions.

iPhone with Face ID

  1. Press the
    Side button
     and the
    Volume Up button
     at the same time.
  2. Quickly release both buttons.
  3. After you take the screenshot, a thumbnail appears in the lower-left.
    Tap the thumbnail for edit options.
    To view the screenshot you've taken, tap
    Photos
     from a Home screen then tap the image.

iPhone with Touch ID and Side button

  1. Press the
    Side button
     and the
    Home button
     at the same time.
  2. Quickly release both buttons.
  3. After you take the screenshot, a thumbnail appears in the lower-left.
    Tap the thumbnail for edit options.
