Apple iPhone - View Battery Percentage

If you need to view the charging status or remaining battery for your Apple® iPhone®, follow these step-by-step instructions.

iPhone with Face ID

  1. Swipe downward from the upper-right top corner of the
    screen
     then drag to the bottom.
  2. View the battery percentage (upper-right).

iPhone with Touch ID and Side button

The steps below don't apply to the iPhone X and later models.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Battery
    .
  2. Tap the
    Battery Percentage switch
     to turn on Switch On or off Switch Off .
    When enabled, the remaining battery percentage to shows in the status bar (upper-right).
