Apple iPhone - Turn Airplane Mode On / Off

View this to turn Verizon network services on or off for your iPhone if they aren't functioning.
When Airplane Mode is on, Verizon network voice and data services won't work, but Wi-Fi can be used.
  1. From a Home screen on your Apple® iPhone®, tap
    Settings
     Settings icon.
    If an app isn't available on your Home screen, swipe left to access the App Library.
  2. Tap the
    Airplane Mode
     switch to turn on Switch On or off Switch Off.
    Airplane Mode can also be turned on / off from the Control Center.
