Windows 10 - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) for your Windows 10 device.

If your device isn't running Windows® 10, refer to the Windows 8 instructions.

From the Windows desktop, navigate:

Start

Settings icon

Network & Internet

Utilize the touchscreen (if available) or mouse to select on-screen options.

Select

Mobile Hotspot

Select

Edit

Edit the following settings as desired then select

Save

Network name

Network password (at least 8 characters)
