Windows 10 - Install App Updates

Here's how to update apps on your Windows 10 device.
  • Ensure the device is connected to a power source during the app update.
  • Using the Mobile Broadband connection to download an update impacts your data usage allowance and may result in additional charges. It's recommended to utilize a Wi-Fi connection , if available.
  • If your device isn't running Windows® 10, refer to the Windows 8 instructions.
  1. From the Home screen, tap or click the
    Store app
    .
    If not available, navigate:
    All apps icon
     All apps icon >
    Store
    .
  2. From the Home screen of the Store app, tap or click the User icon (located next to the Search box).
    Swipe left with Charms menu
  3. Tap or click
    Settings
    .
  4. Tap or click the
    App updates
     On Switch On icon or Off Switch Off icon switch to update apps automatically when on Wi-Fi.
