Here's how to view where a phonebook contact on your iPad was imported from.
To view where a phonebook contact was imported from, see this info. If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step-by-step instructions before activating the new device.
Imported contacts can originate from multiple sources (e.g., work email, Facebook®, Google™ apps, etc.). View this info to determine the import source.
  1. From a Home screen on your Apple® iPad®, tap
    Contacts
     Contacts icon.
  2. If necessary, tap the
    Sidebar icon
     Back icon (upper-left) to access the Contacts screen.
    If unavailable, tap the Back icon
    Contacts icon
    .
  3. Tap a contact.
  4. Tap
    Edit
    .
  5. View the contact source (located in the LINKED CONTACTS section).
