Turn Voice & Video On / Off - HD Voice - Samsung Galaxy J3 V

Here's how to turn HD voice and video calling for your Galaxy J3 V on or off.
If you turn off HD Voice (Advanced Calling), you won't be able to make or receive calls on the Verizon cellular network.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps Apps icon
    Settings Settings icon
    Advanced Calling
    .
    These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  3. Tap
    Advanced Calling
    .
  4. Tap the
    Advanced Calling switch
     (upper-right) to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch off icon.
  5. If presented with a confirmation screen, tap
    OK
    .
    Review the disclaimer regarding billing and data usage.
  6. When turned on, select either of the following to enable or disable:
    Enabled when a blue dot is present.
    • HD Voice and Video Calling
      When video calling is turned on, others can see the phone has video calling.
    • HD Voice only
