Windows 10 - Turn Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot On / Off

Here's how to turn Mobile Hotspot for your Windows 10 device on or off.
When Mobile Hotspot is turned on, other Wi-Fi services are turned off.
  1. From the Home screen, select the
    Action Center icon
     Action Center icon located in the taskbar (lower-right).
    Utilize the touchscreen (if available) or mouse to select the on-screen options.

  2. Select
    Mobile hotspot
     to turn on or off.
    If necessary, select
    Expand
     to view all options.
    • On
      Mobile Hotspot on
    • Off
      Mobile Hotspot off
