Here's how to turn pre-installed apps on your Galaxy J3 V / J3 on or off.
Some apps that come pre-installed (e.g., calculator, Google Play™ Store, Verizon Cloud, Call Filter, etc.) on your Android™ device can't be uninstalled; however, they can be disabled (turned off) so they don't appear in the list of apps on your device.
The option to
enable
 or
disable
 an app may only be available for apps that can't be uninstalled.

Enable App

  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps Apps icon
    Settings Settings icon
    Applications/Apps
    .
    These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  2. Tap Application/App manager.
  3. Tap an app.
  4. Tap
    Enable
    .

Disable App

Disabling an app may cause related app to function improperly.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps Apps icon
    Settings Settings icon
    Applications/Apps
    .
    These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  2. Tap Application/App manager.
  3. Tap an app.
  4. Tap
    FORCE STOP
    .
  5. Tap
    FORCE STOP
     to confirm.
  6. Tap
    DISABLE
    .
  7. Tap
    DISABLE
     to confirm.
