Here's how to add a contact to your Galaxy J3 V / J3 (2016).
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps Apps icon
    Contacts contacts icon
    .
    These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  2. Tap the
    Add
    icon
     Add contact (lower-right).
  3. If presented, tap the account (e.g., Phone, Google, etc.).
  4. Enter any of following information then tap
    Save
     (upper-right).
    Depending upon the account type, the options presented may vary.
    • Name
    • Phone
      To add a pause (a 2-second delay between numbers) or wait, tap
      Sym
       and tap Pause (,) or Wait (;) then tap
      Save
      .
    • Email
    • Groups
    • Ringtone
    • Notification LED
    • Tap the 'More'
      dropdown icon
       Dropdown icon to edit the following:
      • Organization
      • Address
      • Web address
      • Events
      • Notes
      • IM account
      • Relationship
      • Phonetic name
      • Ringtone
      • Message tone
      • Vibration pattern
