Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 edge - Block / Unblock Numbers
Here's how to block messages and send unwanted calls directly to Voicemail for your Galaxy S7 / S7 edge.
Calls from contacts or phone numbers added to the blocked / reject list are automatically ignored and the call is forwarded to voicemail.
Add / Remove Block from Contacts
- From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
- TapContacts

- Select a contact.
- TapDetails.
- Tap theMenu icon
(upper-right).
- Select the appropriate option:
- Block contact
- Unblock contact
- If prompted, tapBlockto confirm.
Add / Remove Numbers from Blocked List
- From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
- TapPhone

- Tap theMenu icon
- TapSettings.
- From the Call settings section, tapBlock numbers.
- Do one of the following:
- To add a number or contact to the blocked list, enter the 10-digit number then tap thePlus icon +(on the right).You can also tap theContacts icon, select the desired contact then tapDone.
- To remove a number from the blocked list, tap theMinus iconlocated to the right of the blocked number.
- To block or unblock all unknown calls, tap theBlock unknown callers switchto turn on
or off
