Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 edge - Set Lock Screen Notifications

Here's how to manage how notifications appear on your Galaxy S7 / S7 edge when the screen is locked.
Lock screen notifications for apps (e.g., text messages, Snapchat® , etc.) can be customized to be shown or hidden when your screen is locked.
If a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync® account is set up on the device, notifications are off by default.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon

    Lock screen and security

  3. From the Lock screen and always on display section, tap
    Notifications
    .
  4. Tap the
    Notifications switch
     (upper-right) to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    When on, configure any of the following:
    • Hide content
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Notification icons only
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Transparency
      Slide the
      blue bar
       left or right to adjust the level while viewing the preview at the top.
    • Auto-reverse text color
      Tap to turn on or off.
      Reverses the color of notification text based upon background color.
