Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 edge - Link / Unlink Contacts

Here's how to link and unlink contacts for your Galaxy S7 / S7 edge.
The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources ( Gmail™, Microsoft® Exchange, Facebook®, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error it can be separated back into individual contacts.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     Contacts icon .
  3. Select a contact.
  4. Tap
    Details
    .
  5. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right).
  6. Perform any of the following:
    • To link a contact:
      1. Tap
        Link contacts
        .
      2. Select the contact(s) to link.
        Selected when a check mark is present.
      3. Tap
        LINK
         (upper-right).
    • To unlink a contact:
      1. Tap
        Manage linked contacts
        .
      2. Tap the
        Minus symbol
         (-) located to the right of the contact(s).
      3. Tap the
        left Arrow icon
         (upper-left).
