Here's how to turn Android beam for your Galaxy S7 / S7 edge on or off.
Android Beam can be utilized to transfer data (e.g., web pages, videos, place page in Maps) from one Near Field Communication (NFC) capable device to another when only a few centimeters apart, typically back-to-back.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    >
    Connections
     >
    NFC and payment
    .
  3. Ensure that the NFC and payment switch (upper-right) is on Switch on
    If prompted, review the notification then tap
    OK
     to confirm.
  4. Tap the
    Android Beam switch
     (upper-right) to turn on or off.
