Manage Do Not Disturb Settings - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

If your LG G Pad 8.3 isn't receiving calls or alerts for texts and email, here's how to check Do Not Disturb settings.
  • The Interruptions feature allows sound/vibration (for phone calls, messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
  • Alarms are always considered priority interruptions.
  • When Sound profile is set to "No interruptions" (silent mode), all notifications, including alarms, are turned off.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:

    Sound & Notification Sound settings icon

  2. Tap
    Interruptions
     .
  3. Tap
    When calls and notifications arrive
     then tap
    Allow only priority interruptions
     .
  4. Tap an option (e.g., Until turned off, For 15 min, For 1 h, etc.).
  5. From the Priority only section, tap any of the following to enable or disable:
    Enabled when a check mark Check Box icon is present.
    • Calendar events
    • New messages
      When New messages are enabled, tap
      Allowed contacts
       then select an option.
      • Anyone
      • Favorites
      • Contacts only
  6. From the Downtime section, do the following to set the days/times in which interruptions are prevented:
    1. Tap the preferred day(s).
    2. Tap
      From

    3. Tap

       , adjust the end time then tap
      Set
       .
