Apple iPad - Create a Keyboard Shortcut

Here's how to create a text replacement shortcut on your iPad.
  1. From the Home screen on your Apple® iPad®, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    General
    Keyboard
    .
  2. Tap
    Text Replacement
    .
  3. Tap the
    Add icon
     Add icon (upper-right).
  4. From the 'Phrase' field, enter a phrase (e.g., On my way!).
  5. From the 'Shortcut' field, enter a shortcut for the entered phrase (e.g., omw).
  6. Tap
    Save
     (upper-right).
