Apple iPad - Turn Handoff On / Off

Here's how to start something on one device and pick it up on other devices using your iCloud account.
  • Handoff lets you start something on one device and instantly pick it up on the other devices using your iCloud® account. The app you need appears in the lock screen, app switcher, and the Dock on a Mac® computer.
  • Handoff requires an iPhone® 5 or later, iPad® (4th generation) or later, or iPod® touch (5th generation) updated to iOS 8 or later.

  1. From a Home screen on your Apple® iPad®, navigate:

    Airplay & Handoff
    .
  2. Tap the
    Handoff switch
     to turn on Switch On or off Switch Off.
