Forward a Premium Visual Voicemail Message - Motorola

Here's how to forward a Premium Visual Voicemail message from your Motorola smartphone via the Voicemail app, Gmail or text message.
Visual Voicemail isn't available for Prepaid service.

Voicemail

Only Verizon wireless customers can receive messages sent with Visual Voicemail.
  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Voicemail
     Visual Voicemail app.
    If unavailable, from the apps list tap
    Verizon
     then tap
    Voicemail
    .
  2. From the Visual Voicemail inbox, touch and hold a message.
  3. Tap
    Forward
    .
    If the Forward option isn't there, tap the
    3 dots menu
     and then tap
    Forward
    .
    Only 1 message can be forwarded at a time.
  4. From the Forward prompt, tap
    Voicemail
    .
  5. From the 'To' field, enter the 10-digit mobile number.
    As the number is entered, a matching contact may appear and can be selected at any time.
    Repeat this step as necessary to add additional recipients.
  6. Tap
    Record
     (at the bottom) to begin recording the voice mail message.
  7. When appropriate, tap
    Stop
     to discontinue recording.
  8. To review the message, tap the
    Play button
     (lower-left, above the 'Re-record' option).
    To re-record the message before sending, tap
    Re-record
     and tap
    OK
     to confirm then repeat step 2.
  9. Tap
    Send
     (lower-right).

Gmail

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Voicemail
     Visual Voicemail app.
    If unavailable, from the apps list tap
    Verizon
     then tap
    Voicemail
    .
  2. From the Visual Voicemail inbox, touch and hold a message.
  3. Tap
    Forward
    .
    If the Forward option isn't there, tap the
    3 dot menu
     and then tap
    Forward
    .
    Only 1 message can be forwarded at a time.
  4. From the Forward prompt, tap
    Other Apps
    .
  5. From the Choose app prompt, tap
    Gmail
    .
    The message is forwarded as a .qcp file.
  6. From the 'To' field, enter the recipient's email address.
    As the recipient's email address is entered, a list of matching contacts may appear and can be selected at any time.
  7. From the 'Subject' field, enter a subject.
  8. From the 'Compose' email field, enter a message.
  9. Tap
    Send
     (upper-right).

Messaging

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Voicemail
     Visual Voicemail app.
    If unavailable, from the apps list tap
    Verizon
     then tap
    Voicemail
    .
  2. From the Visual Voicemail inbox, touch and hold a message.
  3. Tap
    Forward
    .
    If the Forward option is not there, tap the
    3 dot menu
     and then tap
    Forward
    .
    Only 1 message can be forwarded at a time.
  4. From the Forward prompt, tap
    Other Apps
    .
  5. From the Choose app prompt, tap
    Messaging
    .
    The message is forwarded as a .qcp file.
