Hello, and congratulations on your Edge Up to a New Device!
Edge Up gives you the flexibility to upgrade more often. At Verizon Wireless, we want to make sure your Edge Up Experience is as seamless as possible.
When you Edge Up to a new device, you also begin a new Edge Installment agreement. So what about the remaining balance on your previous Edge Agreement? Well' that's the beauty of Edge Up.
Once we receive your old Edge device, your remaining balance is credited and the agreement is then considered paid in full.
To ensure your old Edge device is properly received, please follow these steps:
- The device that you are returning must be received in good working condition. That means it must have a functioning battery, power is off, has a working screen free of cracks and an intact charging port that is also free of visible corrosion or water damage.
- Now if you have an Apple device with iOS7 or later, you must disable "Find my iPhone" by going into settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone.
- Using the return materials provided to you, package your device for shipment. Attach the pre-paid return label that you printed or that came with your new device and make note of the tracking number for your records. Now, just drop it off at your post office or hand it to your mail carrier for delivery.
- Remember to send us your original Edge device within 14 days of receiving your new Edge device.
You may receive a reminder if we haven't received your device. Please note any device received after 14 days, or is damaged, or is a different device than expected, will be sent back to you and the remaining installment balance will be due.
Congratulations again on your Edge Up!
